As an Unarmed Security Officer at a defense industry location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving post includes operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will deliver professional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel, and uphold Allied Universal’s values through teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, assisting with visitor management and directing individuals in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
