This is a junior-level project support role ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, polished in communication, and comfortable helping keep a busy team moving.This role is less about formal project ownership and more about operational coordination: tracking timelines, organizing follow-ups, preparing polished PowerPoint and Excel materials, maintaining project documentation, supporting light calendar coordination, and helping the team stay aligned. The right person will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift.The role requires onsite presence Monday through Thursday in Tempe.What You'll Be DoingSupport project tracking, task management, timelines, and follow-up items for the Data teamPrepare polished PowerPoint decks, Excel trackers, and leadership-facing documentsTrack project action items, owners, deadlines, and status updates to help keep work movingSupport light calendar coordination, meeting scheduling, and agenda preparationTake meeting notes and summarize decisions, next steps, and open itemsHelp manage project time tracking, timesheets, and basic budget trackingAssist with financial tracking and reporting, including awareness of CAPEX versus OPEX spendMaintain org charts, team documentation, project lists, and internal reference materialsHelp plan and coordinate team activities, meetings, and internal eventsCommunicate clearly with team members and stakeholders to ensure priorities and expectations are understoodProvide general administrative and coordination support to technology leadership as neededRequired Experience2 or more years of experience in project coordination, project administration, executive support, team coordination, or a similar roleStrong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create polished, professional presentation materialsStrong Excel skills for tracking, organizing, and summarizing project or financial informationExperience tracking tasks, deadlines, meeting notes, and project follow-upsStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities at onceComfort working in a fast-paced team environment with evolving needsAbility to stay organized, follow through, and keep others on track without needing heavy directionNice to HaveExperience supporting technology, data, analytics, or software teamsFamiliarity with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar project tracking toolsExposure to budget tracking, timesheet management, invoicing, or financial reportingBasic understanding of CAPEX and OPEXExperience supporting project releases or technology delivery cyclesCompensationContract role paying up to $30 per hourPossibility for extension or conversionW2 employment through Vaco with benefits available, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).If you are an organized, detail-driven coordinator who enjoys creating polished materials, tracking the moving pieces, and helping a busy technology team stay on top of priorities, we would welcome the opportunity to connect.
