Job Description American BOA is seeking a skilled Welder proficient in MiG (Metal Inert Gas) and TiG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques to join our team. As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication of high-quality metal components used in our diverse range of products. Responsibilities Perform MiG and TiG welding operations on various types of metal components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding parameters to ensure proper penetration, fusion, and quality of welds. Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and dimensions. Inspect welds for quality and conformance to specifications, utilizing visual inspection and measuring instruments. Operate welding machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including proper storage and handling of welding materials and equipment. Collaborate with other team members and departments to achieve production goals and resolve any issues related to welding processes. Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding skills and knowledge of industry best practices. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence. Other duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Welder, with expertise in MiG and TiG welding techniques. Proficient reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team. Basic math skills and understanding of measurements. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects. Commitment to safety, including knowledge of welding hazards and proper safety procedures.
