Quick Facts: Location: 1510 North 28th Street, Richmond, VA 23223 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date/Duration: 08/31/2026 (with potential for permanent placement) Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, plus on-call hours Hours/week: 40+ hours Employment Type: Locum to Perm License/Certs: Active Virginia medical license; Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN Experience: Proven OB/GYN experience, including low-risk pregnancy management and surgical procedures Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $19.50/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment What You’ll Do: Manage low and high-risk obstetric patients, including routine and complicated deliveries Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring and perform obstetric ultrasounds Conduct gynecological procedures such as IUD insertions, colposcopies, cryosurgeries, and minor surgeries Collaborate with midwives and support staff to deliver excellent patient care Handle office visits, surgical procedures, and on-call responsibilities as scheduled Ensure compliance with all hospital and clinic policies, including documentation and patient safety standards What You Need: Virginia medical license (or ability to obtain one) Active DEA registration Board Certified or Eligible in OB/GYN 2+ years of OB/GYN clinical experience preferred Strong surgical skills, including deliveries and gynecological procedures Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This assignment is at a leading facility in Richmond, VA, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological services. You will work in a well-equipped office with onsite ultrasound and lab services, supporting a patient-centered approach in a Level 2 NICU environment. The practice supports mainly low-risk pregnancies, with experienced staff to assist you during procedures and deliveries.
