Job Description

Purpose of Position:

Responsible for the supervision of all direct care staff members. Implements program's policies and procedures. Responsible for keeping the physical plant in compliance with RHY, and safety regulations.

Reports To:

Assistant Program Director

Supervises:

Counseling Specialists, Counselors, and Relief Counselors

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Hires/supervises all Counselors, Counseling Specialists, & Relief Counselors.
2. Models & promotes dependable, responsible, accountable, & ethical behavior.
3. Ensures all full-time staff meets the annual training requirements.
4. Assists with the coordination of educational/vocational/housing planning & programming for all residents.
5. Ensures new resident orientations are completed for each resident.
6. Prepares staff schedule to ensure program safety, appropriate delivery of services, & necessary coverage. Covers shift(s) to always ensure appropriate coverage.
7. Works with the Assistant Program Director to complete timely staff evaluations.
8. Ensures the Behavior Management System is utilized appropriately.
9. Ensures all household, personal, & food supplies are ordered & in appropriate supply.
10. Works collaboratively with Case Planners to ensure quality of service.
11. Participates in weekly Force Field team meeting & conducts monthly staff & resident meetings.
12. Provides 24-hour on-call coverage to program staff via agency cell phone.
13. Is DYCD Connect trained & proficient.
14. Responds to all emergencies at the residence.
15. Any other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma is required.
• Two years of managerial experience preferred.
• Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.

Travel Required

Yes. Yes, 25% of the time.
