Registered Nurse - Full Time Night Shift

Location: New York State

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Full Time, 3x12 Night Shifts (7 PM - 7:30 AM) with holiday and every other weekend requirements. Two on-call shifts every four weeks.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across multiple units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER. The ideal candidate must be comfortable floating between units and possess critical care experience.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality nursing care to patients across various units
• Utilize critical care skills and assess patient needs effectively
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in patient interactions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current NYS Registered Nurse license
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Tele, or Critical Care Units
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (from AHA or RQI), NIHSS
• Ability to obtain additional certifications (CPI, Basic Coronary Care) within specified timeframes
