• Board Certified in Pathology (Anatomic & Clinical)
• Minimum 1 year of anatomic and clinical pathology experience; locum experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Comfortable with grossing, frozen sections, and FNA/rapid interpretation (cytopathology)
• Ability to manage a high volume of surgical and cytology cases (200-250 slides post-grossing days)
• Fellowship training in subspecialty (e.g., surgical pathology, cytopathology) preferred
• Willingness to work a 3-day rotation and collaborate with lab staff and colleagues

• Perform grossing (approximately 40-50 cases) and frozen sections (1-4 per week) on grossing days
• Read out cases and order IHC/special stains for 200-250 slides after grossing day
• Provide cytology support including FNA procedures and rapid interpretation
• Support Bronch suite cytology and read out cytology cases (cytopathology)
• Interpret a diverse surgical pathology case mix: GI, breast, nephrology, gyn/non-gyn, limited neuro, minimal hematology
• Collaborate closely with histotechs, cytotechnologists, and other pathologists to ensure efficient laboratory operations
• Participate fully in the established 3-day rotation: Grossing, Read Out, Cytology
