Job Title: Express Lube Technician Location: Richmond, Virginia Starting Compensation Range: $30.45 - $38.28 per hour What You Will Do: Lubricate moving parts of various types of machinery with specified lubricants Inspect fluid levels for various compartments, including engine, hydraulics, transmission etc. (water, oil and grease) Inject grease into units using hand or compressed- air powered grease gun Drain oil and refill with required amount Collect oil samples for testing Replace oil and air filters Recommend other services with customer as part of inspection review process Monitor and maintain inventories of oil, filters, etc. Inform customer of upcoming service due dates and make recommendation for future service Perform other related duties, as assigned WhatWe'ReLooking For: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a shop service environment High school diploma or GED, required Valid drivers' license Must have an excellent driving record and the ability to obtain a CDL or DOT certification Strong mechanical aptitude, with ability to perform responsibilities at customer job site with minimal supervision Capability of operating boom truck or equivalent Proper use of overhead and field service cranes Ability to operate a variety of equipment in the field and on customer job-sites Proficiency in the use of a computer, Microsoft Office products and service software Ability to complete service reports and provide pertinent details for work orders Willingness to work overtime as required by job and customer demand What Success Looks LikeInThis Role: Working in coordination with team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals and objectives Promoting a positive customer experience Upholding the Core Values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence and Teamwork by embracing The Carter Way Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear Frequently required to sit Regularly lift and/or more up to 70 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Competitive Compensation and Benefits: Health, dental and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k), $0.75 to $1.25 match up to 6% Life and disability insurance In-house training instructors/programs Employee referral bonus program Tool allowances and tool loans Discounts on cellular phone service, computers, and vehicles Opportunities for overtime Shift differential (if applicable) You’llgain access to real learning, real advancement, and a real future in a companythat’sreshaping what it means to lead in our industry.
