We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join a plaintiff-focused personal injury practice in San Rafael, California. This role is suited for a litigation specialist who can guide injury matters from initial review through final resolution while maintaining strong communication with clients throughout the process. The attorney will handle a varied docket and advocate for individuals pursuing recovery in complex injury-related claims.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee plaintiff-side personal injury cases from initial intake through settlement, dismissal, or trial conclusion.
• Assess new and existing claims, develop case strategy, and identify the strongest path forward for each matter.
• Prepare and file legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and other court submissions in support of client claims.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including drafting written discovery, reviewing responses, and conducting depositions of parties and witnesses.
• Lead settlement discussions with insurance representatives and opposing counsel to pursue favorable outcomes for clients.
• Appear on behalf of clients in mediation sessions, arbitration proceedings, court hearings, and trial when required.
• Maintain consistent, clear communication with clients to explain case status, legal options, and next steps throughout representation.• Active membership in the California Bar and authorization to practice law in good standing.
• At least 3 years of experience handling plaintiff personal injury matters across pre-litigation and litigation stages.
• Demonstrated background in civil litigation, including motion practice, briefing, and discovery management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advocate effectively in negotiations and courtroom settings.
• Proven ability to manage a substantial caseload while staying organized and responsive to client needs.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, or trial.
