Associate Family Law Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Political Law Associate Attorney for its San Rafael, CA office. The role involves extensive client interaction and advising on campaign finance, lobby disclosure, and government ethics laws for a diverse clientele, including corporations, nonprofits, and political committees. Duties Conduct legal research and provide guidance on federal, state, and local campaign finance, lobbying, and ethics laws. Counsel on the formation and maintenance of ballot measure and independent expenditure committees. Oversee the preparation of campaign finance and lobbying reports. Develop and deliver presentations on political law compliance issues in client trainings, seminars, and conferences. Advise on nonprofit compliance and governance issues. Requirements Strong academic credentials (top 20%). Excellent research and writing skills. Experience with government, political, regulatory, or similar work is a plus. Must be a member in good standing with the California Bar. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California Bar membership. Skills Strong analytical and communication skills.
