Associate Attorney - Litigation

Looking for an associate attorney with experience practicing civil litigation in California. Caseload shall consist primarily of employment defense and business litigation. Some medical malpractice insurance defense cases. Independently maintain caseload while procedurally advancing cases and prioritizing deadlines.
*Compensation & Benefits * * *Base Compensation*: $165,000/year* *Annual Billable Requirement*: 1850 hrs
* *Benefits*: Blue Shield health insurance PPO (Firm pays part of monthly copayment); legal malpractice insurance; sick and flexible vacation; approved CLE reimbursement; convenient parking
* *Schedule*: 5 days/week; May work remotely up to 2 days/week if billables and appearances are covered. *Qualifications* * Civil Litigation in CA state or federal court (preferably at least 3 years).
* Experience with:
* mediations, depositions, motion practice, attending court appearances and oral argument; reviewing/summarizing records; legal research, drafting of memos, pleadings and letters, discovery, case strategy.
* Self-starter, accountable, punctual, excellent communicator, team player, multi-tasker, hard-working and creative.
