Overview Examines heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors. Makes note of irregular rhythms and monitors changes in heartbeat. Ensures that monitors are functioning properly. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Responsibilities Examine heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors. Note irregular rhythms and monitor changes in heartbeat. Ensure monitors are functioning properly. Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision. Report to a supervisor or manager as required. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent.
