Job Purpose/Position Summary:
Serves as the District's:
- Facilitator of District-wide hiring/job posting process
- Paraprofessional & casual group coordinator
- Back-up for Workers Compensation claims
- Facilitator of Hiring Process (50%) Point of contact for applicants and hiring managers regarding job openings, assists with recruiting, posts all job postings, manages applicant process, tracks applicant/hiring data, schedules interviews, maintains posting files, serves as Applitrack Help Desk.
- Paraprofessional Coordinator (30%) For Paraprofessional Employees, oversees all changes to contracts and changes to employees in HRIS, seniority lists, and other databases. Creates contracts for new hires and hold orientations for new employees, Assists with negotiation items, Assists in administering layoff/recall
- Administrative Support (10%) Works closely with the Assistant Director - Human Resources on Staffing & Hiring. Record-keeping and file maintenance work to comply with record retention schedule
- Back-up for Worker's Compensation Claims (5%) Back-up to the individual who oversees Worker's Compensation.
- Other Duties as Assigned (5%)

- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Google
- Human Resource Generalist Experience and/or degree
- Database entry and/or management experience
- Familiarity with Skyward database software
- Familiarity with Frontline Applitrak System
- Duties are generally performed in a typical office/school setting where there are minimal environmental hazards and risks. Employee(s) may be exposed to some disagreeable conditions involving human/coworker contact and exposure to minor illness.
- Ability to perform the following actions: standing, sitting, using hands dexterously, talking, hearing, lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds on occasion, reaching, stooping, walking, bending, crouching.

- Health & Dental Insurance: Employees can choose from health and dental plans to help cover medical and dental needs for themselves and their families. Employee only coverage for Health insurance is $0 per paycheck. The District also contributes to an HSA account to help cover medical expenses.
- Life Insurance and Disability Insurance: Employees get free life insurance, which provides money to their family if something happens to them while employed with the district. Additionally, your spouse and dependent children to age twenty-six are also covered. There is also LTD insurance to help if they can't work due to illness or injury for an extended period of time.
- Retirement & Pension Savings: Employees can save money for their future through a retirement plan or pension. The district helps by contributing money towards their savings through match, and through contributions to the State retirement plan.
- Paid Time Off: Employees accrue time off for things like Earned Personal Leave or sick days.
- Employee Support: There is also help for employees with life events through a free Employee Assistance Program. This program covers many things, including mental health, financial health, aging parent resources, young family resources.
