Medical Inventory Specialist (3rd Shift)
$15.5 - $16 per hourBaxter
Baxter seeks a Medical Inventory Specialist for third-shift operations at Tampa General Hospital. The role involves managing medical equipment inventory, performing deliveries and retrievals, and maintaining safety and compliance standards in a healthcare facility environment.
Responsibilities
- Move, manage, and coordinate medical equipment inventory within the healthcare facility
- Conduct inventory tracking, retrieval, and delivery of equipment per service agreements
- Identify and report equipment problems or maintenance needs to management
- Maintain facility cleanliness and safety standards including 5S activities
- Complete required safety and compliance training modules on schedule
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and carry 60+ pounds with proper ergonomic technique
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently with limited supervision
- Previous hospital or healthcare setting experience preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, and kneel 6-8 hours per shift
- Understanding of infection control and personal protective equipment requirements
Compensation: $15.50-$16.00 per hour
