About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience Required License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: EOW/EOH required. Intermittent charge responsibilities may be required. Charge training/shadowing is offered. Description: This is a 30-bed medical/surgical unit specializing in solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery. Typical patient population includes pre-op and post-op solid organ transplant patients such as kidney, liver, and pancreas patients. The unit also serves post-op bariatric surgery patients and other general medical/surgical patients. Please note that this unit has available step-down beds that are not dedicated or reserved. These beds will be filled with medical/surgical patients when there are no step-down unit patients. While efforts will be made to ensure step-down unit patients are assigned to the staff, it cannot be guaranteed. Travelers may have to care for step-down unit patients. Please take this into consideration when applying.
