About the Position

Job Title: RN - Med/Surg/Tele Float Pool

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract (Potential for Extension)

Shift: Day/Night Shifts Available

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med/Surg/Telemetry Float Pool assignment. The RN will provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients while floating between assigned units as needed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.

• Provide patient and family education.

• Float to various Med/Surg and Telemetry units as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Ohio RN License.

• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

• Experience caring for Med/Surg and Telemetry patients.

• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of Med/Surg/Telemetry experience.

• Previous float pool experience preferred.

Required Certifications Prior to Start:

• Active Ohio RN License.

• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
