About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surgical Telemetry. License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - 1.5 years of recent Med/Surgical Telemetry experience, travel experience will suffice. - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments must be passed during orientation. - Compliance with traveler holiday work requirement. Description: Registered Nurse in Med/Surg Telemetry. Potential to float to additional units to care for the same patient population. Shifts may vary to meet operational needs. Must possess 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for. Experience should preferably be within a single location but can be combined. Active certifications must be maintained with no pending issues. References must come from a manager, supervisor, or director in the relevant specialty. Travelers are expected to have no open background cases. Nicotine-free requirements apply to all travelers except for exempt roles. Candidates may extend their contract, subject to operational needs.
