About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignments. License: Must hold a permanent state license. Compact licenses accepted. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience, travel experience will suffice. - Must work at least every other holiday. - ECG rhythm recognition test and medication safety assessments required during orientation. Description: This position requires a registered nurse in the Med/Surg Tele specialty. The role includes providing care to patients with urology-related conditions. There is potential to float to other units to care for similar patient populations. Night shifts are scheduled from 7 PM to 7:30 AM three times a week. Traveler must have an acceptable score on required assessments during orientation. Background checks will be reviewed, and open cases will not be accepted. This facility has specific policies regarding nicotine use for travelers. Candidates must complete required modules prior to the start date. Successful completion of all requirements is necessary before beginning the position.
