About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license required Certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: - 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience prior to travel - Traveler must work at least every other holiday - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments must be completed during orientation with acceptable scores Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in a Med/Surg Tele environment. The nursing role may include floating to other units to care for similar patient populations. Shifts will alternate between night (7 PM - 7:30 AM) and day (7 AM - 7:30 PM). Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs. Travel experience will be considered as part of the 18 months of Med/Surg Tele experience. An acceptable score is required on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments. Any background checks will be reviewed, and travelers with specific issues may not be accepted. Compliance with nicotine-free requirements may apply to certain travelers. Candidates will be required to complete necessary modules prior to the start of their role. Caregivers with facial hair should seek exemptions for personal protective equipment requirements. All policies regarding patient care and health regulations must be followed.
