Join our Water US, Construction Management Division as our new Resident Engineer and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future. Responsibilities Utilizing knowledge acquired in obtaining an engineering or construction management degree to analyze the engineering concepts of a project. Overseeing construction personnel to ensure construction procedures, methods, and materials follow those specified in the contract documents; directing Construction Superintendents, Project Managers, Foremen, etc. to comply with contract documents throughout the duration of the project. Utilizing knowledge of the technical components of a project to ensure those components meet the engineering requirements of the contract documents. Performing engineering calculations throughout the duration of the project to determine such requirements as pump performance, mechanics of concrete, pipeline hydraulics, and electrical adequacy. Preparing cash flow calculations from a critical‑path schedule and schedule of values so that the project owner can budget total project cost and monitor contractors’ progress and scheduled completion. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology. Associate's degree or technical‑school certification in science, math, architecture, computing, technical drafting, or other relevant technical curriculum, plus 4+ years of qualifying engineering experience working in the engineering/design field. Ability to make decisions affecting the cost and performance of the work. Advanced degree. Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Licensed Professional Engineer.
