Registered Nurse – Endoscopy Schedule: 6:30–7:00 AM start time with rotating call (weekends and a few weekdays). Call Requirement: Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes. More About Our Team: Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) Colonoscopy Sigmoidoscopy Bronchoscopy GI bleed procedures The unit typically operates 1–2 procedure rooms several days per week out of the Operating Rooms, maintaining a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio to ensure high-quality, focused patient care. How You Will Contribute Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. What We Are Looking For Applicants should have a current VA RN license. Additional Requirements Include Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. American Heart Association Basic Life Support.
