Registered Nurse - Endo Schedule: 6:30/7am Start Time, Call rotation required. Must be able to meet a 30 minute Call Time. More About Our Team Endoscopy provides care for a variety of patients and procedures, including esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, bronchoscopy, and GI bleed procedures. We run 1–2 rooms several days a week out of the Operating Rooms with a 1:1 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. How You Will Contribute Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care treatments. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. What We Are Looking For Applicants should have a current VA RN license. A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
