Occupational Therapist – Contra Costa County (school setting) Posted 2 weeks ago $55 – $80 / hour – In-person: Antioch, Concord, Pittsburg, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek — California About this role We are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time Occupational Therapist to provide therapy and assessments to students ranging from K‑12 in a school setting in the Contra Costa County, CA area. Our ideal candidate must have an active California Occupational Therapy license and be comfortable working with a full range of disabilities. We are looking for somebody to start immediately/ASAP. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients and develop individualized treatment plans Implement therapeutic interventions to meet IEP goals Collaborate with the IEP team for student’s success in the school setting Provide hands‑on therapy for children with sensory, motor, and developmental challenges Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Educate caregivers on strategies to support skill development at home Qualifications Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Active California Occupational Therapy License (Required) Prior pediatric experience preferred but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Full‑time position (typically aligned with school calendar) Caseload of approximately 50–55 students across multiple school sites Primarily school‑based work with a mix of direct therapy, indirect consultation, documentation, and team collaboration Compensation $55.00 – $80.00 per hour
