Eisenman Road Time Type Full Time Division Solutions Position Summary The Team Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and overseeing all operational activities assigned daily. Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Team Lead oversees the associates dedicated to the warehousing, receiving, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality, and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Training Responsibilities Mentor and train new and existing associates in distribution activities to help achieve customer demands. Train associates on current Standard Operating Procedures, including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control. Assist in forklift operation and certification for new and existing associates. Shipping/Receiving Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, staging outbound shipments, and orderly product stacking. Load orders efficiently and accurately according to appropriate doors and trailers. Process all shipping/receiving/picking functions per SOP. Research discrepancies in shipping and receiving processes. Customer Service Maintain a professional appearance and communication style. Communicate with customers via telephone, email, or in person. Prepare accurate activity reports for site management. Quality Control Responsibilities Ensure products and orders are received and shipped correctly through proper documentation. Verify products meet quality standards, report damages or discrepancies, and stack, package, shrink‑wrap, and label products. Process QC functions according to SOP. Report inconsistencies to the Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager and participate in quality meetings. Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance Comply with ISO standards, safety protocols, and OSHA/MSDS standards. Promote safety in all tasks and maintain a clean, orderly warehouse. Assist in security of the warehouse and maintain cleanliness. Participate in safety meetings. Labor Management Direct warehouse operations to achieve objectives. Assist associates and temporary labor with productivity sheets and payroll hour capture. Assist Supervisor in maintaining a productive workforce and establish work schedules. Ensure jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly. Responsibility and Authority Participate in department meetings. Initiate actions to prevent non‑conformities and report them to the Quality Department. Equipment Operation Operate equipment such as sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, sweeper, scissor lift, cherry picker, Aisle Master, and pallet jack. Maintain and report equipment problems, perform minor maintenance, and keep an active forklift certification. Operate all equipment safely and efficiently. Maintenance Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned. Other Duties Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, filing, and visitor greeting. Work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required. Supervisory Responsibilities None

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED. 1 year of experience in logistics or distribution. Ability to operate material handling equipment. Ability to work in unregulated temperatures (mild to moderate). Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Basic computer skills (RF scanners, WMS functions). English reading, writing, and verbal communication. Basic to intermediate mathematics for inventory and order verification. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timely task completion. Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision. Effective communication at all organizational levels. Adaptability to change and a fast‑paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

2–4 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment. 2–4 years of proven forklift experience. Current or prior MHE certification.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Occasional handling, sitting, and manipulation of products. Frequent bending. Constant walking and standing. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 21–50 pounds; reach above shoulder, outward, squat, or kneel.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment has low to moderate noise, minimal exposure to fumes or airborne particles, and a safe warehouse setting.

COMPA + BENEFITS

Expected base pay rate is $26.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
