Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Description

This position offers an opportunity for candidates from facilities outside of the Swedish system who have been separated for at least three months. All facilities honor active compact licenses. This role is within a free-standing emergency department (ED) with no respiratory therapy or pharmacy on site, handling approximately 15% pediatric patients.

Qualifications

• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Minimum of 2 years of charge nurse experience required
• Experience with the Epic charting system is mandatory
• Strong clinical skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients
• Experience in central line care and management, chest tube insertion/management, and procedural sedation monitoring
• Valid compact state license is necessary

Patient Care Details

• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: Fast-paced environment in a 24-bed free-standing ED
• Expected Patient Ratios: 1:4 during day shifts

• Trach Care
• Cardioversion/Defibrillation
• Breathing Treatments
• Feeding Tube Management
• PICC Line Care
• Rapid Infusion Procedures

Additional Information

Healthcare professionals in this role may be required to float to nearby facilities as needed. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment.

Communication devices may be provided for work-related purposes at no cost. Providers will submit their cell phone bills directly for reimbursement where applicable.

All scheduling requests must be submitted upfront, and flexibility with the contracted schedule is essential for maintaining employment.
