Manufacturing Technician B- Multiple Shifts/Depts $26 - $31/hr

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician B Briggs & Stratton – Power Group As a Manufacturing Technician B your goal is to use your technical expertise, to be the go-to person for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in your area. You'll also be responsible for setting up various production machines to ensure top‑notch quality products are manufactured. Responsibilities Maintaining mechanical, electrical and hydraulics systems for a variety of equipment Performing various operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges and guarding Troubleshooting and repairing equipment; performing preventative maintenance Responsible for statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend‑analysis to bring parts into specification Training employees; assigning and directing work; providing feedback to supervisors regarding employee performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems Performing additional duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Minimum of 1.5 years’ relevant experience including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic skills Proficient computer skills and ability to use computers for email communications and data entry for quality/production systems Additional Knowledge & Skills Forklift experience is a plus, but not required Strong team player mindset Enjoys a challenge Great interpersonal and communication skills Travel Required % of Travel: 0 How often: N/A Where: N/A Work Location Statesboro, Georgia Physical & Environmental Requirements May be required to lift or carry materials of various sizes and weights (frequently 5‑25 lb, occasionally 25‑75 lb, rarely >75 lb) Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8‑12 hours) Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full shift Ability to use power/vibrating tools over a full shift Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full shift Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required over a full shift Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
