Meridian, United States | Posted on 02/27/2026 Coverage Dates Coverage Requested Due to Staffing Needs Facility Seeking 3 Nocturnists Patient Information Patient Demographics: All Ages Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 33,350 Annual ED Visits Case Mix: High Acuity Emergency Medicine Facility Information No. of Beds in Department: 32 ED Beds Office Equipment Available: Fully Equipped Emergency Department Specialty Backup Available: Multispecialty Support Within Health System Support Staff Available: 36 Hours of Physician Coverage Daily; 17 Hours of NP/PA Coverage Daily Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Compensation & Benefits Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered Required Procedures Evaluation and management of high acuity emergency cases Trauma stabilization and emergency interventions Coordination with specialty services as clinically indicated Job Requirements Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine Certifications: ACLS, PALS, ATLS Required if Not ABEM Certified Other Qualifications: Must Have State License, Board Certification, and DEA in Hand at Time of Presentation Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a Level III Trauma Center Manage high acuity patient cases during nocturnist coverage Collaborate with NP/PA providers and multidisciplinary staff Document all encounters accurately within Epic EMR Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards #J-18808-Ljbffr Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC
