Summary:Provides administrative support and coordinates the respective graduate medical education/ residency/fellowship programs. Responsible for the administration of medical students and other rotators within these programs.Formal Education Required:a. Bachelor's degree in health care administration, business administration, education or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.b. Master’s degree preferred.Experience & Training Required:a. Two (2) years of administrative and program management experience.b. Medical and/or higher education administration experience preferred. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:a. Communicates effectively with physicians, management and employees at all levels. b. Exhibits excellent professional organizational and interpersonal skills. c. Ability to perform required duties with minimal guidance/supervision.d. Understands/has knowledge regulations and requirements of medical education programs. e. Experience using various software applications and programs, to support the Medical Education program.f. Certification in TAGME (Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education) once eligibility requirements are met.g. Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignityLevel of Physical Demands:a.
