Job Summary This is a hands‑on, field‑based role responsible for installing, supporting, and commissioning industrial electrical systems for anaerobic digester and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) construction projects across Ohio and Indiana. The position works under the direction of an Electrical Foreman and focuses on industrial power, controls, and construction environments. This role is not residential or light‑commercial. Primary Responsibilities Perform installation and support of industrial electrical systems for RNG and anaerobic digester construction projects. Install electrical equipment including conduit systems (rigid, EMT, PVC‑coated, underground), power and control wiring (AC/DC), and components such as junction boxes, disconnects, panels, MCCs, VFDs, motors, and instrumentation. Pull, terminate, and label power, control, and signal cabling. Assist with commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of new electrical systems. Interpret and work from industrial electrical drawings, including one‑lines, schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams, and vendor cut sheets. Follow direction from the Electrical Foreman to execute work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the construction schedule. Assist in identifying and resolving constructability issues in the field. Use hand tools, power tools, meters, testers, and electrical trade‑specific tools as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site. Adhere to all company safety policies, job‑site safety rules, and applicable electrical codes. Support other construction activities as needed to advance the project. Assist in other duties to support company operations as needed. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions This field‑based construction role requires standing for extended periods, climbing ladders and stairs, lifting and carrying materials, pulling and terminating wire, and working in outdoor and industrial environments, including inclement weather. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, fall protection, and gas monitors is provided and must be worn as required. Work Schedule The role offers a regular scheduled work week with an 8‑hour day shift. Overtime and extended shifts may be available and/or required from time to time. The ideal candidate will live in or close to Fort Wayne, Indiana or Van Wert, Ohio. Minimum Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in all stages of electrical construction, including underground conduit installation to commissioning and documentation. Experience in industrial or heavy commercial construction strongly preferred. Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, motor controls, and basic instrumentation. Ability to read and work from industrial electrical drawings and schematics. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with NEC and general industrial electrical code requirements. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team. Willingness to learn new systems, methods, and construction techniques. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required. Salary Range $1.00 – $1,000,000.00 (base pay only). Incentive earnings, such as commissions or bonuses, are not included. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance.
