Flex Associate

Overview Flex Associates support stores by providing workforce coverage during planned absences, illness, and business fluctuations, assisting in sales and customer support. Responsibilities Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Provide customers with product knowledge and promote current promotions. Greet customers, educate them on promotions, and build relationships to foster repeat business and promote Saks credit card. Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the POS register, adhering to checkout standards. Resolve customer issues aligning with trust, integrity, and respect. Achieve individual and store sales, customer acquisition, and loyalty program goals. Maintain the selling floor, fitting rooms, and fixtures; handle markdowns, go-backs, and signage. Support the store’s asset protection, shortage, and theft awareness programs. Complete tasks or special projects assigned by store leadership efficiently. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in retail, customer service, or sales. Proven sales track record and results‑driven mindset. Competitive drive and entrepreneurial confidence. Ability to deliver high‑standard customer service and build relationships. Knowledge of fashion industry and passion for sharing expertise. Prompt decision‑making and clear action planning. Ability to operate radios, POS register, ticket scanners, and sensor removers. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
