About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its pivotal, island-based not-for-profit organization. The successful candidate will be the chief administrator, working in close partnership with the Board of Directors to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality health care. This role is particularly significant as the organization is undergoing a transition to a professional administrative model, with a focus on mission, vision, financial sustainability, and philanthropy. The Executive Director will be responsible for organizational and governance transition, systems and infrastructure development, leadership, people management, and culture, as well as fundraising and financial management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years' of senior leadership experience, with a preference for those with a background in health care management. They should be strategic team leaders, experienced in administration of fundraising and financial practices, exceptional teambuilders, and strong communicators. The role requires a firm and fair leader who can lead through influence, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to develop and sustain partnerships. The Executive Director will also be expected to be a flexible and adaptable implementer, enhancing operational efficiency, modernizing systems, and being open-minded and resilient in the face of change.
