Travel MRI Technologist - $2,025 per week

Job Summary TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Austin, Texas. The role requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Responsibilities As an MRI Technologist, you will: Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients. Screen patients for MRI safety prior to the procedure. Interpret doctors’ written instructions accurately. Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment in compliance with regulations. Assist the radiologist with procedure performance. Start IVs, administer contrast media as directed and per protocol. Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images, sequence of exposure and label appropriately. Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration. Follow safety procedures when working with radiation. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications 1 year of experience in MRI. BLS certification. ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging; additional certifications may be required. State‑specific licensing when required. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods; sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
