Make a meaningful impact working in a school-based setting as an Occupational Therapist supporting students’ growth and independence. This opportunity runs on a contract basis through May 27th, 2027, offering you the chance to provide your expertise to a dynamic group of learners and collaborate with other dedicated professionals. Travel between schools in the district will keep your days engaging as you oversee a caseload of 120 students and provide leadership to a team of 3 COTAs.

Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee Occupational Therapist license/certification
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Previous experience supervising COTAs is a plus

What you’ll do:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
• Oversee, mentor, and support 3 COTAs within the district
• Assess and develop intervention plans tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes
• Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student success
• Travel between school sites as needed to serve your caseload
