Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students near Greenbrier, TN as a dedicated Occupational Therapist. Qualifications and Experience Needed:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Tennessee (OT TN)
- Prior experience in a school-based OT setting is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload spanning multiple schools
- Ability to provide guidance and oversight to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve a caseload of approximately 120 students across the district
- Oversee and provide professional support to three COTAs, ensuring cohesive and effective therapy delivery
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy sessions tailored to students' individual education plans (IEPs)
- Regularly travel between schools to deliver services and monitor progress
- Maintain detailed documentation to track student progress and compliance with school protocols
- Participate in meetings with education teams and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
Role Details:
- Full-time contract position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Start date as soon as possible, continuing through May 27th, 2027
