Job Summary

Our Truck Service team is comprised of nearly 3,000 highly skilled technicians and spans coast to coast. With over 280 locations across the country, TA Truck Service has a solid foundation and a forward-thinking vision. As a Master Technician, you will train new technicians in providing accurate, efficient service to customers through troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks and trailers. Our Technicians ensure we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!

In This Role, You Can Expect To:

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded
• Have extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide
• Diagnose wear conditions and together with TSA or Manager, makes recommendations to customers
• Complete repairs within their capabilities and as written
• Facilitate and train new hire technicians using a prescribed curriculum
• Partner with the management team to identify training opportunities for new hires
• Take an active role in encouraging training completion and compliance
• Understand and promote Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs
• Follow safety guidelines and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers.

What We'd Like To See:

• A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of our team!
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck service experience preferred
• Should have all (7) heavy duty ASE certifications (T2 T8), and the L2 certification.
• A strong desire to mentor and train others
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays in interior and exterior conditions
• A valid driver's license

Pay Range $40.00 - 45.00 per hour A pay range listed reflects the potential pay for this role. The pay will depend on various factors, such as responsibilities of the position, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

Typical Physical Demands

In this role, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear. Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching, crawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally. The team member is occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs and/or move heavy objects.
