Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager
Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation Center – Ithaca, NY
Cayuga Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 144-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center beautifully situated on the west bank of Cayuga Lake in Ithaca, NY. Key Responsibilities
As the RN Unit Manager, you will oversee day-to-day patient care, lead clinical staff, and collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest quality of resident care.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and foster a positive, team-focused environment for nursing staff.
Care Management: Oversee resident care plans, health assessments, and collaborate with physicians.
Quality & Performance: Monitor and evaluate employee job performance, addressing any clinical or procedural needs.
Administration: Complete audits, charting, evaluations, medical forms, and necessary administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements
Licensure: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
Experience: Proven background in a clinical supervisory or management role.
Certification: Active CPR certification.
