Business Analyst/Product Owner

ONSITE 3-4 DAYS A WEEK IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

Location: Washington, DC Overview We're supporting a Procurement organization through a Step application upgrade. The team is organized into 7 Agile pods, and we're adding Business Analyst / Product Owner resources to help cover current gaps as we ramp up. Because pod needs may shift, these BAs/POs will be assigned to the pod(s) with the most immediate demand based on onboarding timing and overall team coverage. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys dynamic environments and can jump in quickly and make an impact. What You'll Do Partner with Procurement stakeholders and Agile pod teams to support delivery for the Step app upgrade Gather, clarify, and document business requirements; translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria Support backlog refinement, prioritization, and day-to-day delivery execution (BA and/or PO responsibilities depending on pod assignment) Collaborate with developers, QA, and Scrum teams to remove blockers and ensure successful releases Communicate clearly across stakeholders and pod teams in a fast-paced environment What We're Looking For 6-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner in Agile delivery teams Experience working in a SAFe and/or Agile environment (certification preferred, hands‑on experience is fine) Azure DevOps experience (working with boards/backlogs, stories, epics/features, etc.) Strong ability to operate as a self‑starter with minimal ramp‑up Comfortable being assigned to different teams/pods based on evolving needs Dexian is an Equal Opportunity Employer that recruits and hires qualified candidates without regard to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, disability, or veteran status. #J-18808-Ljbffr Dexian DISYS
