Traveling Superintendent – Lead Commercial Construction Projects Across Louisville Job Overview Company: Tony Wilson Constructors, Inc. Salary/Pay Rate: $100,000 - $110,000 per year plus Performance Based Bonus. Location: Position based in Kentucky. Must live within commutable distance of main office in Kentucky. Project Scope: Commercial Construction Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid Driving Licence The Opportunity You will serve as the primary on-site operational leader, driving the successful execution of commercial construction projects. This role gives you complete autonomy to manage sub-contractors, implement schedules, and enforce top-tier safety standards. You will make a direct impact within a tight-knit, decisive company where your voice is valued and bureaucracy never stands in the way of progress. How You Will Make An Impact Coordinate and manage daily on-site operations to ensure projects stay on time and within budget. Supervise, mentor, and train new field superintendents to ensure consistent operational excellence. Lead weekly safety and look-ahead meetings with sub-contractors and vendors to align project goals. Evaluate sub-contractor performance and make decisive adjustments to maintain strict quality standards. Act as the primary liaison between project managers, clients, architects, and inspectors. Manage daily logs, weekly written updates, and photographic progress reports via field software. Enforce rigorous safety guidelines on-site to maintain an excellent corporate safety record. Required Qualifications & Experience Proven track record of leadership in commercial construction as a primary on-site superintendent. Experience reading and interpreting complex blueprints, structural drawings, and mechanical schematics. Proficiency in digital project management tools and standard office software. Possession of or ability to obtain OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour certifications. Preferred Qualifications & Experience 10 or more years of related work experience in commercial general contracting. Immediate proficiency with Procore and ComputerEase software platforms. Advanced expertise in coordinating multi-trade commercial construction schedules.
