A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC credentials, eager to support students’ communication needs in a collaborative school setting near Houston, TX. This hybrid, onsite role offers a dynamic environment where you will engage with students across 2-3 schools while being centrally based at the district office.

As part of a district dedicated to a holistic workload model—not just caseload numbers—you’ll make a difference by providing direct therapy, case collaboration, and guidance. The position also involves overseeing an SLPA, fostering both mentorship and clinical growth.

Ideal candidates will bring:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for SLP
• Valid state licensure as required for school-based SLPs
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability and willingness to supervise an SLPA
• Flexibility to travel between schools as needed

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality speech and language therapy services
• Maintaining thorough documentation of progress and services
• Supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participating in multidisciplinary meetings
• Supervising and mentoring an assigned SLPA
• Adhering to the district’s workload-focused approach, ensuring equitable and effective support for all students
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and fellow specialists
