Installer/Production SpecialistFASTSIGNS Tulsa is hiring for an Installer/Production Specialist to join our team! As an Installer/Production Specialist, you'll play an important role in getting the finished sign or graphic in place so everyone can see it - in the ground, on a wall, on a vehicle or hanging from a ceiling. You'll use a variety of tools to assemble, erect and hang items, both inside and out. In fact, most of your days will be spent moving, lifting and building for a wide variety of sign installations.Benefits/Perks:Competitive PayPaid HolidayPerformance BonusOngoing Training OpportunitiesA Successful FASTSIGNS Installer / Production Specialist Is:Responsible for all offsite sign and print media installationsAble to assess an environment for the needs and techniques of the installationReviews job requirements and verifies measurements before startingAble to work independently and with other team members when requiredPrepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etcWeed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of imagesOperate and maintain printer(s)Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standardsPerform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed piecesReport inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.Clean and maintain storage areasIdeal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Installer:Clean driving record18 years of age or older1-2 years of experience in sign production. Experience in install preferredPrevious experience in sign installation, construction, or a related field preferred.Proficiency with hand tools and equipment used in sign installation.Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices.Basic carpentry, electrical, or welding skills, if applicable.Scissor lift and bucket truck experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.Comfortable working at heights, such as ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)Ability to lift 50 or more poundsFlexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrateAbility to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality workAbility to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomouslyAt FASTSIGNS, every day is unique and presents exciting opportunities, including new ways to use your talent and grow your skills.
