Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray) - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend.

Job Description

The Multimodality Technologist will provide quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT services. This role requires effective communication with patients to explain procedures and ensure they are competent in the procedures being performed. Technologists are responsible for producing images for interpretation as requested by licensed practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures in both X-ray and CT modalities.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and confirm their understanding.
• Produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.
• Possibility to float to West Ashley or Kiawah Facilities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
• Current certifications: ARRT in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT), BLS.
• Experience in adult inpatient and emergency settings required; Level I/II trauma, pediatrics, and orthopedic exams experience highly preferred.
• Must provide personal radiation badges; the facility does not supply them.
