Job Title

Incumbent develops, analyzes and interprets DoD financial management policies and procedures, to include developing, coordinating, and publishing updates to the DoDFMR.

Responsible for performing policy analysis on proposed and existing policies, providing policy interpretations to internal and external customers, and coordinating and reviewing proposed policy updates from external sources.

Incumbent analyzes and responds to audits, inspections, and other review findings and recommendations relative to DoD financial management.

Analyzes financial management procedures and systems, to determine the need for standardization of financial management policy and procedures.

Incumbent participates in standardization initiatives and workgroups, in support of DoD's efforts to improve financial management systems, policies and procedures.
