Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them realize their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based modalities to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functioning, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure integrated, holistic care for all patients.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Educate both patients and caregivers about effective therapy practices to promote continuous improvement at home.
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adapt treatment as necessary to keep patients on track towards their goals.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing training or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications Required

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
