Job Summary Ensures the company's facility needs are met by providing services and maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operations of all equipment. Maintenance and/or repair of machines, equipment, buildings, or property. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Reads work orders or receives and listens to oral instructions to determine work assignment. Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety requirements. Cleans and lubricates parts of machinery. Installs and/or repairs wiring and electrical components. Paints and repairs woodwork and plaster. Performs other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in maintenance or repair. Typical Training/Experience HS Diploma or GED, strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility. Environmental Job Requirements Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment.
