This position emphasizes individualized care, with current caseloads including 35 students—numbers are expected to grow with the addition of Early Intervention clients. Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current Speech-Language Pathology certifications for schools (all certs required; no exceptions)
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions
• Familiarity with augmentative communication devices is a strong asset
• Must have completed fingerprints for school employment
• Proactive communicator comfortable working closely with multidisciplinary teams and attending IEP meetings

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and deliver speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and interventions
• Develop tailored therapy plans, adapting to individual needs and learning styles
• Collaborate effectively during IEP meetings and with team members (educators, parents, and specialists)
• Offer guidance and support on assistive or augmentative communication devices as needed

This is a leave of absence position (MAT LOA) expected through November, with potential for extension.
