On-Site Call Center CSR - $21/hr | Tempe, AZ

Role Overview We're hiring 10 Customer Service Representatives for a healthcare call center in Tempe, AZ. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting pharmacy benefits and member services. What You’ll Be Doing Answer inbound calls and occasional follow-up calls from members, pharmacies, and healthcare providers Assist with pharmacy benefits, prior authorizations, claims inquiries, and general account questions Accurately enter and update customer information across multiple systems Follow established procedures and ensure quality and accuracy on every interaction Handle approximately 50-100 calls per day depending on call complexity Navigate multiple applications simultaneously while documenting customer interactions Deliver professional, customer-focused service while handling sensitive information Pay, Schedule(REQUIRED AVAILABILITY) & Logistics Pay: $21.00/hour Employment Type: 6-month contract-to-hire Location: On-site in Tempe, AZ Start Date: October 18, 2026 Training Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM for the first 4 weeks Final 2 weeks of training: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Training includes assessments and performance evaluations Required Availability After Training Must be available 7 days per week between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM A permanent shift will be assigned within those hours Weekend availability is required as part of the scheduling rotation Shift selection is based on training performance Mandatory overtime is expected during January and February Career Growth Opportunity to convert to a full-time employee Promotion paths into Tier 2 support and other operational teams Exposure to pharmacy benefits management and healthcare operations Opportunities to advance into areas such as quality, reporting, claims, training, leadership, and business support functions Requirements Must-Have At least 1 year of high-volume call center experience within the last 2-3 years Recent call center experience in current or recent employment history Strong customer service skills Ability to work across multiple computer systems simultaneously Typing speed of at least 30 WPM Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy High school diploma or equivalent Stable work history with the ability to explain employment changes when needed Ability to work the required training schedule and open availability window after training Preferred Healthcare, medical, pharmacy, or insurance customer service experience Pharmacy Technician certification Bilingual Spanish skills Experience working in a metrics-driven call center environment Experience handling confidential or regulated information Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
