Billing Analyst

Overview Modivcare is seeking an experienced Billing Manager I to optimize and standardize revenue cycle processes and provide strategic insights and leadership to support billing operations and organizational goals. Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert in all aspects of revenue cycle management. Provide strategic insights and recommendations for leadership decision‑making. Lead the development and implementation of advanced revenue cycle strategies. Support and develop Billing Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure timely and accurate client invoicing. Utilize advanced data tools (e.g., Access, databases) to support complex invoice creation. Design and improve process flows with minimal oversight. Develop and maintain internal controls for invoice preparation and ensure SOX compliance. Maintain process documentation and cycle narratives for billing operations. Conduct internal, external, and client contract audits as needed. Align policies and procedures with evolving processes. Lead special projects, including complex system implementations. Facilitate team meetings to drive collaboration and process improvements. Manage operational scope of complex, cross‑functional projects. Identify opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and functionality. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Establish goals and provide regular updates on project progress and performance. Drive accountability and adherence to deadlines within the team. Perform additional duties and lead projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field required. Seven (7) plus years of experience in financial analysis and/or billing in a high‑volume, data-intensive environment. Experience in healthcare or logistics preferred. Experience in a public company with SOX‑compliant internal controls preferred, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. In‑depth knowledge of revenue cycle management. Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets. Detail‑oriented with an innovative mindset. Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer focus and decision‑making capabilities. Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, v‑lookups, macros, power queries). Proficiency in Access and SQL. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Self‑starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently. Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues. Strong relationship‑building skills. Ability to perform effectively under pressure. Salary & Benefits Salary: $72,000 - $87,000, bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
