Human Resources Consultant

Salary Range: $110k to $120k

We are seeking a skilled and people-focused Human Resources Consultant to support and enhance core HR operations, employee relations, compliance initiatives, and organizational effectiveness. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in HR best practices, employment law, and HR systems, along with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support on employee relations, HR policies, and workplace best practices
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
• Support HR initiatives including onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and policy administration
• Partner with leadership and employees to resolve workplace concerns and foster a positive work environment
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive employee matters
• Assist with HR reporting, documentation, and process improvements
• Utilize HRIS systems and reporting tools to support HR operations and workforce management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience required
• Leadership or senior-level HR experience preferred
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and HR best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities
• Proven organizational and time management skills
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms such as Paychex, ADP, or Paylocity

Preferred Qualifications

• SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent HR certification preferred
