Schedule: Approximately 2:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Compensation: $41,600–$45,000 base salary plus uncapped commission, car allowance, bonuses, and incentives
Estimated Earnings: Approximately $80,000 annually for average performers, with top performers earning $100,000+
MMC Group is hiring experienced Door-to-Door Outside Sales Consultants for a rapidly growing provider in the residential internet services industry.
This position is ideal for a competitive, resilient sales professional who enjoys working independently, meeting customers face-to-face, and controlling their income through performance. Candidates with previous door-to-door sales experience in telecommunications, internet, roofing, solar, pest control, home security, energy, or other home services will receive priority consideration.
Available Territory Clusters
Candidates will be assigned to a specific residential territory based on where they live. Applicants should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of one of the following service corridors:
DFW West – South
- Grandview
- Itasca
- Milford
- Italy
- Mertens
- Frost
DFW East – South
- Blooming Grove through Barry and surrounding communities
DFW East – Southeast
- Ferris through Kaufman and surrounding communities
DFW West – Northwest
- Ponder through Sanctuary and the Pelican Bay area
Houston West – South Texas
- Edna
- Victoria
- Nursery
- Yoakum
- Surrounding serviceable communities
These territories may shift as the company expands its residential internet infrastructure. Candidates are expected to live within or near their assigned cluster to avoid excessive daily commuting.
What You Will Do
- Conduct face-to-face sales presentations within an assigned residential territory.
- Visit approximately 50 residential doors per day.
- Make up to three passes through assigned lead areas when necessary.
- Educate homeowners about available internet service plans.
- Build rapport, identify customer needs, address objections, and close new accounts.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and customer information in the company’s CRM.
- Work independently while meeting daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations.
- Coordinate with field leadership to support timely customer installations.
- Represent the organization professionally within local communities.
This is not traditional random cold-door canvassing . Representatives receive approximately 500–600 leads per month within designated territory clusters where internet infrastructure is available. Sales activity is focused on serviceable residential addresses with a higher likelihood of conversion.
What We Are Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous door-to-door sales experience.
- Experience selling telecom, internet, roofing, pest control, solar, energy, home security, or other residential services.
- Experience working in a commission-driven sales environment.
- Demonstrated ability to overcome objections and close business.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug screening, motor vehicle record review, and required permit process.
- Ability to work outdoors and remain on your feet throughout the assigned shift.
- Ability to use a company-issued smartphone, tablet, and CRM system.
- Willingness to work within the assigned territory, generally from 2:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
Compensation
Base salary is determined by directly relevant experience:
- Approximately $41,600 annually for candidates with strong work ethic and transferable sales experience.
- Up to approximately $45,000 annually for candidates with proven door-to-door sales experience and a strong employment background.
- Uncapped commissions.
- Enhanced commission opportunity during the initial 90-day ramp period.
- Commission payments issued biweekly after completed customer installations.
- Vehicle allowance to support territory travel.
- Monthly performance incentives.
- Customer referral commissions.
- Potential bilingual incentive following assessment.
- Average target earnings of approximately $80,000 annually.
- Top performers can earn $100,000 or more annually.
The current performance target is approximately 24 completed installations per month .

Training and Career Growth
New employees receive a combination of classroom instruction, field shadowing, and direct support from an assigned supervisor before transitioning into an independent territory.
High-performing representatives may qualify for advancement into a Team Lead or Supervisor position in approximately six months . Promotion opportunities are based on production, attendance, accountability, leadership ability, and consistent achievement of sales expectations.
