Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license for the state of New York
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY applicants will also be considered
• Previous experience working with children across K-12 grades, preferably in a school setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Familiarity with IEP processes, goal setting, and progress monitoring
• Ability to adapt therapy and intervention strategies for diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services for K-12 students
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine eligibility and therapy needs
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans and IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create supportive educational environments
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and professional development sessions
